Videoconferencing

OTN is one of the largest live two-way videoconferencing networks in the world.  Health care professionals use OTN to provide access to care for patients through every hospital and hundreds of other health care locations across the province.  In addition to clinical care, we facilitate the delivery of distance education and meetings.

Currently, OTN supports videoconferencing for three main applications:

Clinical Telemedicine

• Expand patient access to diagnosis and treatment.
• Refer patients or see patients as if you were in the room.

Distance Education

• Participate in Rounds and other accredited continuing health education at every hospital and hundreds of other sites across Ontario.
• Collaborate with your peers.
